Different Types of Job Interviews
There are a few types of interviews. An organization can follow anyone or more than one interview at the same time.

Structured Interview
A structured Interview is a predetermined checklist of useful for valid results, or questions, usually asked of all especially when dealing with applicants or a large number of applicants.
Unstructured Interview
An unstructured interview also can be called a non-directive interview, it can be explained as an interview in which questions are not prearranged. Such an unstructured interview shall be considered to be the antonym version of a structured interview which highlights a bunch of prescribed questions.
Mixed Interview
There was an alternative name of Mixed interview that is semi-structured interview. The mixed interview is one where the interviewer applied a mixed strategy, and spontaneously ask several questions to the interviewee. This interview method creates a strategy to compare between different candidates, it gives more freedom and flexibility to recruiters.
Behavioral Interview
Behavioral Questions limited to Useful to understand an applicant’s hypothetical situations. reasoning and analytical abilities. Behavioral-based interviewing is interviewing based on discovering how the interviewee acted in specific employment-related situations. The logic is that how you behaved in the past will predict how you will behave in the future, i.e., past performance predicts future performance.
Stressful Interview

Literally, A stress interview is used by an employer to put a candidate under intense pressure, to assess how a candidate handles work overload, how they deal with multiple projects, and how good they are at handling workplace conflict.
Problem Solving or Case Interview
A case interview is a job interview in which the applicant is presented with a challenging business scenario that he/she must investigate and propose a solution. Case interviews are designed to test the candidate’s analytical skills and “soft” skills within a realistic business context. The case is often a business situation or a business case that the interviewer has worked on in real life.
Case interviews are mostly used in hiring for management consulting jobs. Consulting firms use case interviews to evaluate candidate’s analytical ability and problem-solving skills; they are looking not for a “correct” answer but for an understanding of how the applicant thinks and how the applicant approaches problems.
Panel Interview
A panel interview can be defined as a job interview in which an applicant answers questions from a group of people or selected persons who then make the hiring decision. Hiring managers use panel interviews to gain perspective from other people in the organization and occasionally those outside the organization. This Panel interviews minimize the risk of making a bad hiring decision.
