RRB NTPC Syllabus 2019 and Exam Pattern 2019: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) exam to recruit Commercial apprentice, Traffic Apprentice, Traffic Assistant, Assistant Station Master, etc. all over India. The Recruitment Notification has been released for Non-Technical, Para-Medical, Ministerial & Isolated Category & Level-I Posts by Railway Recruitment Board. The Recruitment is to be done for the 1,30,000 vacancies offered by RRB.

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern for the First Stage of CBT
Sections wise Marks distribution with specific duration.
Total Duration of 90 Minutes.
General Questions Awareness. ( 40 Questions and 40 Marks) .
Mathematics. ( 30 Questions and 30 Marks ).
General Intelligence and Reasoning. ( 30 Questions and 30 Marks) .
Note: There will be negative marking of 0.25 Marks for every question attempted wrong. No marks will be deducted for a question left unanswered.

General Intelligence & Reasoning
General Intelligence and Reasoning is considered to be one of the highest-scoring sections of this Exam. This section will test and examine your ability to think and solve problems quickly. The questions asked in this section are mainly the brain teasers. Also sometimes can be quite tricky to answer.

Mathematics. ( 35 Questions and 35 Marks ).
General Intelligence and Reasoning. ( 35 Questions and 35 Marks) .

Computer Aptitude Test (CABT)
Only for candidates who have opted for Traffic Assistant and Station Master. The candidates need to secure a minimum T-Score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries to qualify. This is applicable to all candidates irrespective of community or category i.e. irrespective of SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD/Ex SM and no relaxation in the minimum T- Score is permissible.
Typing Skill Test (TST)
The candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on Personal Computer only without editing tools and spell check facility.
Exam Tips that You Need to Remember.
Get a proper Night’s Sleep.
Be aware of your weaknesses and play to your strength.
Watch the Clock.
Be aware to think about the right answer, there is negative marking.
Solve easy questions at first, then goes to difficult sequentially.
Do not invest whole time into one question, if you stuck with one questions, you will lose other questions to answers.
Must try to cover the whole paper, so you don’t miss the easy questions towards the end.
